In partnership with the Singapore Art Book Fair (SGABF) 2019, this edition of THEBOOKSHOW Open Call Showcase presents a selection of self-published photobooks produced by international artists and photographers from 10 different countries.
THEBOOKSHOW Open Call serves to provide opportunities for showcasing photo books by emerging artists and to encourage art book appreciation. This year, THEBOOKSHOW has teamed up with the SGABF to host the open call exhibition that will be held during the fair at the NTU Centre for Contemporary Arts. These selected books will also travel to other international events that THEBOOKSHOW will be featured in.
The selected works in this Open Call showcase were selected by Renée Ting, Director of Singapore Art Book Fair (SGABF); Yanda, Founder of DoNotDesign; Gwen Lee, Director of Singapore International Photography Festival (SIPF) and Leanna Teoh, co-founder of THEBOOKSHOW.
